About Andrea

"I have been a secondary school science teacher for 16 years and I love science and helping children to learn about this amazing subject.  I am thrilled to become a part of team mini science and I can’t wait to share my passion for science with the wonderful children and their families in North Tyneside . In my free time I enjoy nature walks with my family, taking wildlife and landscape photographs and going running.”

During each session your child will not only play and explore, but they will also be actively learning, creating and thinking critically every week.

During the sessions the children will take part in age appropriate hands on experiments, learning and messy play which will be in keeping with the weekly theme. ​

Mini Science Club sessions will be messy and involve using the whole body to explore and experiment. 

Mini Science Clubs are ‘messy’ play with a science twist. 

The session are for children aged 1 to 4 years old.
